Mostly good, one small hiccup

I ordered a Shiitake Stämme and some Agarplatten. The products themselves seem high quality, and the shipping was reasonably fast, took about 6 days to get to my place in Florida. My only minor complaint is that one of the Agarplatten lids was a bit loose, but it didn't seem to affect anything. Overall, a solid experience and good value for what I paid.

Smooth order, great support

I bought a Cordyceps Pulver and a HEPA Filter for my lab setup. The ordering process on their site was straightforward. Delivery took 5 days to reach Denver, and everything was packed securely, no damage. I had a question about the filter size, and their customer service responded within a few hours with a clear answer. The quality of both items seems really good, especially the filter. It's nice to find a place that handles everything so smoothly from start to finish.

First order, good value

This was my first time buying from here. I was looking for a good deal on a Pilzzuchtset and saw they had a decent one. The price was competitive, especially with the new customer discount I got. It felt worth the purchase, everything arrived well-packed. Definitely happy with the value.

Got my Austernpilz kit

Needed an Austernpilz Zuchtset and found it here. Everything arrived fine, was easy to get started. Delivery was pretty quick too. I'm happy with it, nothing bad to say. It was a chill shopping experience.

Always reliable, great supplies

I've ordered from All About FUNGI a few times now, and they're always consistent. My last order for Pilzbrut and Substratbeutel arrived just as expected, same good quality as before. Shipping was quick to Ohio, just like my previous orders. It's why I keep coming back; no surprises, which is what you want with this stuff.

Are these guys legit? I've heard some online mushroom places can be sketchy with their genetics.

L Lisa 2 months ago

They've been good for me, never had issues with contaminated cultures or anything. My last few batches from them grew really well.

A Alex 2 months ago

Yeah, they're pretty well-regarded. I've bought from them a few times for spore syringes and grow kits, no complaints here. Quality seems solid.

Do they do discrete shipping? Asking for a friend who's a bit paranoid about ordering fungi stuff online lol.

P Paula 2 months ago

Yup, super discrete. My last order came in a plain box, no branding or anything obvious on the outside.

Can confirm, it's totally plain packaging. You wouldn't know what's inside from looking at the box.

I want to get some Reishi extract. Is their stuff bio-certified? Like, organic?

S Sophie R. 2 months ago

I believe some of their products are organic, but not all. You'd have to check the specific product page for the Reishi extract to see if it has the bio-certification mentioned.

Not everything is, but they usually specify on the individual product listing if it's organic or bio-certified. I've seen it on some of their powders.

What payment methods do they accept? Just PayPal or can I use a credit card directly?

D Dana Y. 2 months ago

They take pretty much all major credit cards directly, not just PayPal. I usually just use my Visa.

J Jared Doyle 2 months ago

I've used my Mastercard there a few times without issues. Pretty standard payment options.

Considering the oyster mushroom grow kit. How does it compare to, say, Glückspilze or MycoVital kits? Anyone tried both?

C Chris 2 months ago

I've only tried All About FUNGI's oyster kit, and it was pretty successful for me. Never used Glückspilze, but heard good things about both.

A Anna A. 2 months ago

All About FUNGI's kits are decent, definitely grew some nice oysters. MycoVital is good too, but I feel like All About FUNGI is a bit more beginner-friendly with their instructions.

I'm looking to get a grow kit but also some separate mycelium. Can I use the newsletter discount on a bundle or only full-price items?

T Tom 2 months ago

I think sometimes the newsletter code works on bundles, but generally, sales (like bundles already on sale) usually auto-apply without a code. You can only use one code per order though, so check which gives you a better deal.

1

M Marcus 2 months ago

They usually say if it's stackable or not. Most sales get applied automatically, and you can't add another coupon on top of that, sadly.

Hey, thinking about grabbing some liquid cultures. How long does shipping usually take, especially to, like, Phoenix, Arizona?

N Neil Nguyen 2 months ago

Mine took about 5 business days to California last month. Phoenix shouldn't be too different, I'd guess.

5

S Steve B. 2 months ago

Yeah, I'm on the East Coast and it was pretty quick, maybe a week max. They're usually good about getting stuff out fast.

Does All About FUNGI offer anything for new customers? Like a first-order discount or something?

S Sophie D. 3 months ago

Yeah, they usually have a new customer discount if you sign up for their newsletter. It's usually like 5-10% off.

4

P Phil Kim 2 months ago

Definitely sign up for the newsletter, that's where I got my first discount code. Pretty standard for new users.
